Toilet Cleaner

You may not think about it every day, but many cleaning products such as toilet cleaner contain harmful substances to the environment. Not necessary! And that's where our toilet cleaners and toilet blocks come in. Like all Marcel's Green Soap products, they are well biodegradable and come in delicious fragrance combinations.

When we talk about cleaning the toilet, we don't just mean wiping the seat with a cloth. No, it's not that easy! We're talking about a thorough cleaning session using an eco-friendly toilet cleaner. Scrub the inside of your toilet with it, and use a different solution for the seat and the exterior of the toilet. Oh, and before we forget: don't neglect the doorknob, light switch, flush button, and sink. These are the places where most bacteria tend to reside! So, go ahead and give them a good wipe-down with our eco-friendly all-purpose cleaner. Finally, mop the floor, and your toilet will be sparkling clean again.

Unlike regular toilet cleaner, Marcel's Green Soap toilet cleaner is made with renewable ingredients and is less harmful to the environment. This makes them safe to use even if you have a septic tank. Moreover, the bottles of our toilet cleaner are made of 100% recycled plastic.

Marcel's Green Soap's eco-friendly toilet cleaner is at least 95% biodegradable. You might be wondering: why not 100%? Let us explain: Biodegradability is the process by which organic compounds, meaning substances containing carbon and hydrogen, are broken down by the natural ('biological') activity of microorganisms, among others. All organic compounds in Marcel's Green Soap products are ultimately 100% biodegradable. However, our products often contain salts. These salts are used for pH balance, to dissolve dirt, and to give the products some thickness. Salts are not biodegradable, hence the 95%. There you have it. We hope this clears things up, and now you can clean your toilet with peace of mind!

Spoiler alert: if you clean your toilet regularly, substances like bleach are not needed at all! If only we had known that before... Just keep cleaning as you normally would. But that shouldn't be a problem once you've experienced the scents of our eco-friendly toilet cleaners. How about once or twice a week? Here's an extra tip from Marcel: if you ever come across limescale in the toilet bowl, place a piece of toilet paper or cloth soaked in cleaning vinegar on it. After soaking for an hour, you can easily rinse away the lime scale.
