Laundry detergent

The Marcels Green Soap laundry detergent is the first liquid detergent without palm oil in the Netherlands. Now that's really clean. Do you also wash palm oil-free? Our detergent is made with biodegradable ingredients, is vegan, has a microplastic-free formula and the bottle is made of recycled plastic!

It all began when Marcel saw the images of rainforests being cleared to make way for new palm oil plantations. This made Marcel think: if the demand for palm oil continues to rise, and the rainforests keep shrinking, the Earth will heat up even more. Will the planet still be inhabitable for his three daughters in the future? "The only solution to slow down the growth of new palm oil plantations is to use less palm oil." Marcel took action. He decided to make his laundry detergent, a product we all use (almost) daily, palm oil-free. With this product, we can make the most significant impact. Read here why. By collectively being more mindful of palm oil, we can make a difference. Will you join us? Try our palm oil-free laundry detergent and truly wash clean!

Me, dirty laundry? Well... you might think your clothes are nice and clean when they come out of the washing machine, but did you know that the environment takes a beating from an average wash? Detergents with harmful ingredients put a strain on our planet. It can be done differently. By choosing at least 97% biodegradable Marcel's Green Soap laundry detergent, you do your bit for more sustainable washing. Yes, that's right: sustainable detergent without a scent. Although... our unique fragrance combinations such as Vanilla & Cotton or Patchouli & Cranberry will keep your laundry smelling great all day long!

Marcel's Green Soap detergent is made with renewable ingredients. So not only does your laundry get clean, you also wash the world around you a little cleaner. That is laundry detergent that makes you happy!

The expression ‘child can do the washing’ is there for a reason: doing the laundry is not that complicated. For the right amount of detergent, it is best to follow the dosage recommendation on the detergent packaging. Marcel's advice? The dirtier the wash, the more detergent. It is easy to use too much detergent because your laundry is not always really dirty. A waste of money and not good for the planet. Oh, and before you spread the detergent too enthusiastically over the different compartments in the detergent dispenser drawer: check your washing machine's instructions for what the compartments are for. This prevents the detergent from running out of the compartment prematurely.
