Our plastic-free deodorant sticks have been a favorite for years, but not everyone can get used to using a stick. That's why we've expanded our range with a deodorant roller and spray in 3 delicious scents and -of course- packaged in 100% recycled materials, including recycled aluminum.
Spray or lubricate?
Marcel's Green Soap deodorant stick is one of the most sustainable deodorants: palm oil-free, plastic-free and it lasts a long time. But let's be honest: not everyone is a fan of using a deodorant stick. Because rolling or spraying is just a little bit faster and easier. We want everyone to get through the day with armpit fresh, which is why we have expanded our range of deodorants with a roller and spray. The new soapies are available in your favorite scents Argan & Oudh , Vanilla & Cherry Blossom and Mimosa & Blackcurrant .
Gentle on your skin and the planet
Our deodorants provide 24 hours of protection, do not stain clothing, are microplastic-free, 100% vegan and free of aluminium salts. The bottle and cap of the deodorant roller are made of 100% recycled plastic and has a ball of bio-based plastic. The spray is packaged in 100% recycled aluminium.
Free from aluminium salts
Whether you prefer to roll, spray or spread - our deodorants do not contain aluminium salts. These salts are added to deodorants to reduce sweating. In recent years, aluminium salts have acquired an unpleasant aftertaste, because they are said to have a possible effect on health. Although science has not been able to prove this connection, we want you to feel good about using your daily deodorant. And that is why our sustainable deodorants are free of aluminium salts.
Packaged in 100% recycled aluminum
We may not be a big fan of aluminum salts, but we are big fans of aluminum. This material can be recycled infinitely often. And we like that! That's why we have packaged our new deodorant sprays in 100% recycled aluminum. How does that work?
Like plastic, aluminum has some very good properties: it is strong, lightweight and can be molded into all sorts of shapes. But, like plastic, aluminum does not decompose. An aluminum can that ends up in nature will stay there forever. So we have to prevent metal packaging from ending up in the environment or on the landfill and that can be done by recycling it.
Since April 1, 2023, there is a deposit on aluminum cans, which means less aluminum ends up in the environment and more aluminum is available for recycling. All collected aluminum is melted down into a new product. And so it can happen that your can of soda eventually returns as sustainable deodorant.
Is your deodorant finished? Throw it in the PMD waste (Plastic, Metal & Beverage Cartons), so it can be recycled again!
