All-purpose cleaner

An all-purpose cleaner can be employed on – as the name implies – all surfaces within your home. That's the reason it's labelled as an all-purpose cleaner; it's intended for every area in your household! It's hard to imagine anything quite as versatile. From countertops and floors to bathrooms and kitchens, it efficiently cleans them all, leaving them not only spotless but also with a delightful fresh scent. Marcel's Green Soap products are specially formulated to be safe for use on natural stone, marble, wooden floors, and parquet surfaces.

Unlike regular all-purpose cleaners, Marcel's Green Soap's sustainable all-purpose cleaners are made with renewable ingredients. To minimise our impact on the environment, we look at the entire cycle: from the ingredients and origin of raw materials to the packaging and ‘after use’, the final effect on the environment.

All sustainable all-purpose cleaners from Marcel's Green Soap are at least 97% biodegradable. We can hear you thinking: why not 100%? We are happy to explain: Biodegradability is the process by which organic compounds, i.e. substances containing carbon and hydrogen, are broken down by the natural ('biological') activity of micro-organisms, among others. Our products also often contain salts. These salts are used for the pH, for dissolving dirt and also to make the products a bit thicker. Salts are not biodegradable, hence the 97%. There. Now that we have clarified that, you may also be happy to know that we only use bottles made from 100% recycled plastic for our all-purpose cleaners. In this way, we contribute to reducing the enormous amount of plastic in circulation. So don't forget to throw the bottle in the plastic waste when you have finished it. The bottle will then automatically end up back in the chain with our bottle manufacturer.

All-purpose cleaner does not always have a disinfecting effect. And that is just as well! Disinfectants contain substances that kill bacteria. It also removes the bacteria that are good for you. So it is not a good idea to overload your home and body with those aggressive chemicals. Research also shows that using disinfectants in the home is no better than using soap and water like a regular or long-lasting all-purpose cleaner. If someone is sick in the house, then you might consider opting for a disinfectant cleaner (like in the hospital). So for everyday use, just opt nicely for our sustainable all-purpose cleaner.
